Rex Kare – Artist, Educator
Rex Kare is an artist and educator currently residing in North Texas. Having received his Masters of Fine Art at the New York Academy of Art, Graduate School of Figurative Art, Rex produces artworks in a multitude of mediums from sculpture to stained glass for public and private commission, and exhibition.
Many of his artworks can be found throughout Texas, as well as in collections both private and public, throughout the United States and abroad.
In addition to his studio practice Rex is a professor of art at Collin College, in Plano, TX, where he instructs Figure Drawing utilizing an anatomical and observational approach, and Painting courses emphasizing a thorough understanding of materials and techniques.
